Look for Frank Talent on the phones. Snooper Scooper: Hon. Charles Mirarchi, Sr., that great Judge of the Common Pleas Court, has been chosen as the "MAN OF THE YEAR" by the Catholic War Veterans. Good Choice! Snooper Spotter: That well known gentleman from City Hall, and I might add great politician, Jimmy Sproul, can usually be found at Dugan's on the Boulevard. He is loved by everyone and that's a fact. Snooper Scooper: Lots of people over at 34 S. 11th St. were shocked to learn that 15 people had gotten stuck in an elevator there for half an hour. We hear that some of them were pretty scared. Speaking of Stuck Elevators…the very same thing happened to Debra Karp, Trial Commissioner. She was stuck in one the elevators in the C.J.C. for over a half an hour. Unreal! People are complaining. Snooper People: Joe Teti, "The Commander" of the Treasure Island ferry, the largest on the Delaware, says thanks to all of you who remembered him. Yes, he's the same gentleman who worked in our court system, as a Deputy Administrator. And speaking of those who worked for the court system, how about Tom Carmondy? Both he and his dad worked for Municipal Court. Now Tom is chief photographer for the Eagles. Snooper Special Salute: Val Izzo, the 9th Police District's, community relations officer, is a great spokesman for them. He is seen all over the Fairmount section speaking to the various community groups. A special salute to Val! Tony Feaster, Intercept Courier, bike man, is also a pro-wrestling referee for many groups in this area. He recently did show with the CWC wrestling group, who's Lisa Constantino, swears by him. John Morris Rifkin, the ultimate politician, is still around, and I might add, he's still going strong - like 'The Energizer.' Yes, he's like a Timex watch, he just keeps on 'ticking.' OK! Snooper Prediction: Hon. Robert Casey, JR. seems to be the odds on favorite in the upcoming gubernatorial race. In the last election, Bob Casey got more votes in Pennsylvania than the presidential candidates. Snooper Hats Off Dept: 'Momma' Cass Micenec, Post Trial Unit - MC Court, is going to retire this year. This young lady has given us over 13 years of professional service. Maryanne & Steve will definitely miss her. Snooper Question of the Week: Who will be endorsed for the Supreme Court by the Democratic City Committee? We have two choices here in Philly - Judge James De Leon & Judge James Murray Lynn. WHO will they pick? Barbara Deeley, the chief-of-staff for Sheriff John Green's office, thanks all her friends at the City Committee, Ward Leaders, Committee people, and everyone else for remembering her Mom. Manny
Bustamante, Trial Commissioner for MC Court, was really surprised last week by his young son, Gabriel, who came to visit him. He was impressed to see where Dad worked. Snooper F.Y.I.
