Taubenberger Enters Race In 172d

Former GOP mayoral candidate Al Taubenberger has entered the race in the 172nd Legislative District.
The President of the Northeast Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce is expected to face no opponent in the Primary.
However, he will face Democrat Kevin Boyle in November.
Rep. Boyle – brother of State Rep. Brendan Boyle – defeated long time lawmaker, former House Speaker John Perzel two years ago.
Taubenberger ran unsuccessfully for a Council-at-large seat in 2011, and for mayor in 2007. /Rory McGlasson
