Roebuck Cites Lokoff For Work With Children

STATE REP. Jim Roebuck presented citation from Penna. legislature congratulating Terri Lynne Lokoff Child Care Foundation at its 25th anniversary Rose Gala. Roebuck praised foundation for raising public awareness and supporting efforts for quality early-childhood education. More than 300 people attended event at ACE Conference Center, including Lokoff Foundation board members and friends, early childhood educators, and corporate supporters. Merck received Corporate Leadership Award, and the late Helene Marks, former executive director, was honored with Child Care Advocate award in memory of Anne Krancer. Terri Lynne Lokoff Child Care Foundation, founded in memory of an early-childhood educator, presents National Child Care Teacher Awards, sponsored by Children’s Tylenol, each year, to 50 teachers through a nationwide competitive process.
