CONGRESSWOMAN ALLYSON SCHWARTZ joined a who’s who of Philadelphia notables at the opening of a new art exhibit at the Philadelphia Art Museum.

Schwartz, who this week said she will be a likely gubernatorial candidate in 2015, attended the opening gala of Great and Mighty Things: Outsider Art from the Jill and Sheldon Bonovitz Collection.

The new exhibit is made possible thanks to a donation from the Jill and Sheldon Bonovitz collection. The show features a collection of artwork created by 27 self-taught artists.

Great and Mighty Things at the Philadelphia Museum of Art runs March 3-June 9 at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, 2600 Benjamin Franklin Parkway. Free with museum admission.
