Phila., program specialist at PDDC Cultural Arts Center, proudly display one of the paintings by artists at PDDC Cultural Arts Center which will be on display on Thursday, Jun. 27, with a VIP reception starting at 5:30 p.m. at 2350 W. Westmoreland Street. This painting is by Michael Squillacotti, and is one of dozens of works which will be on display and also for sale. In addition, there will be a dedication ceremony for Eleanor Elkin & Richard Elkin Cultural Arts Center that evening. Mrs. Elkin is a pioneering advocate for people with intellectual disabilities, and her late son Richard enjoyed years of activities at PDDC. SpArc is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2009 to provide fiscal oversight, financial support and opportunities for growth to The Arc of Philadelphia and PDDC (Philadelphia Developmental Disabilities Corporation), a family of organizations benefiting people with disabilities.
