Presidential Commission Takes Testimony From City Election Officers

The Presidential Commission on Election Administration met yesterday at Convention Center to gather information from the state’s County Commissioners, industry experts, and the public on how to improve voter access to the polls.

The City’s three Commissioners — Chair Anthony Clark, Vice Chair Al Schmidt and Stephanie Singer — attended the hearing and gave testimony.

The Commission, operating under a Presidential Executive Order, has been tasked with identifying ways to help ensure eligible voters have the opportunity to cast their ballots without undue delay and to improve the experiences of voters facing other obstacles.
