Philadelphia Convention Group Hosts Luncheon

STATE REP. Jim Roebuck and Penna. Sec. of Commonwealth Carol Aichele met up with Ben Franklin at PHLCVB luncheon. Roebuck and Aichele now both serve on State Board of Education, so they had a lot to discuss about education reform and school funding.

AT PHILA. Convention & Visitors Bureau’s luncheon held at Phila. Marriott Downtown, Mayor Michael A. Nutter joined Jack Ferguson, PHLCVB President & CEO, in highlighting the organization’s accomplishments of past year, securing $1.2 billion in future conventions and contributing to a 43% increase in international visitor spending over previous year.
