Philadelphia Sheriff Jewell Williams has added three sniffer dogs to the  K-9 department.

The 2-year-old German Shepherd’s were donated to the Sheriff’s office by attorney and local philanthropist James Binns, Esq. – and graduated from the Sheriff’s K-9 training program in February.

At a graduation ceremony held at the Criminal Justice Center, the three pooches, Blair, Carter and Jimmy joined their handlers, who received certificates and commemorative K-9 trading cards from Sheriff Williams. Binns received a commemorative plaque for his donation.

The Dutch-born canines are trained to sniff out bombs and narcotics.
