ULTIMATE goal of getting Democratic City Committee’s endorsement in May 19 primary is reflected on smiles of these incumbents and new candidates as they met at Democratic City Committee last Saturday morning to hear the good news. Party Chairman and Congressman Bob Brady introduced them to party’s ward leaders, prior to full vote by party leaders.
Endorsed for Common Pleas Court were Scott DiClaudio, Judge Ken Powell, Tracy Roman, Lyris Younge, Daine Grey, Judge Abbe Fletman, Kai Scott, Mia Roberts-Perez, Judge Michael Fanning, Judge Vincent Melchiorre, Chris Mallios and Judge Stephanie Sawyer. For Municipal Court, endorsed were Sharon W. Losier, Joffie Pittman and Christine Hope.
For County Commission, endorsed were Commissioner Anthony Clark and Lisa Deeley. For Register of Wills, it’s incumbent Ronald Donnatucci and for Sheriff, incumbent Jewell Williams.
Endorsed for Council at Large were Blondell Reynolds Brown, Sherrie Cohen, William Greenlee, Ed Neilson and W. Wilson Goode.
In the 1st Council Dist., it is Mark Squilla; in the 2nd Dist., Kenyatta Johnson; in the 3rd Dist., Jannie Blackwell; in the 4th Dist., Curtis Jones; in the 5th Dist., Darrell Clarke; in the 6th Dist., Bobby Henon; in the 7th Dist., no endorsement; in the 8th Dist., Cindy Bass; in the 9th Dist., Cherelle Parker; in the 10th Dist., no endorsement.
City Committee will make no endorsement in the Mayor’s race.
