“We would like to get our own South Philly businesses involved in working with Cordish Cos.,” he said. “We have bakeries, meat markets, security, lawyers, exterminators, insurance agents, internet, software, computer people and many other businesses that would do well in a casino environment. We are looking to have as much local business to stay here and employ people from South Philadelphia. Every trade and profession can be easily transferred.”
