Sabir Drives Voter Turnout at Satellite Center

CITY COMMISSIONER Omar Sabir, R, enlisted a vehicle to curbside at the new Liacouras Center Satellite Voting Office on N. Broad Street. His aim was to recruit Black citizens in N. Philadelphia to register to vote in the upcoming election. Philadelphia City Commission has opened an unprecedented 17 satellite offices throughout the city where citizens may register to vote and deposit their absentee ballots in what is expected to be a surge of voter participation.
